KAYAKING ON THE RIVER CETINA

Duration of the kayaking trip: between 2 and 3 hours.

Departure times: Everyday at 10:30am and 16:00pm from Omis during the summer season 1.04.2024 - 1.10.2024.

Price: 35 Euros per person

Maximium capacity: We have 7 kayaks. Each kayak takes 2 adults. Therefore we have a maximum capacity for 14 adults per kayaking tour. Each kayak is able to also sit a child. Our kayaks are Tri-yaks with a maximum capacity of 300 kilos- they easily take 2 adults and a child or 3 teenagers.

Safety equipment: Lifejackets and paddles are provided. Wetsuits are available during cooler or wet weather- available in a variety of sizes (XS, S, M, L, XL,XXL).

Our guides speak English well. They also know a few words in many other languages. )

What you need to bring kayaking: a bottle of water, bathers and/or tshirt and shorts to wear during kayaking. Please bring a spare change of dry clothes for when kayaking has finished, a towel and sunscreen.

Additional information: kayaking is suitable for everyone from 4 years of age- our smallest life jackets are for 15 kgs. No experience is neccessary. kayaking is suitable for all levels of fitness. It is neccessary to book your kayaking trip 1-3 days in advance.

Meeting point in Omis: We meet at the parking place after the tunnel at 10:30am or 16:00pm. Look for our white combi (ST 494 SS) and kayaks. The directions are very simple. From the Split diretion- once you get to Split cross the Omis bridge (there is only 1 river and 1 bridge in Omis), turn left straight away and drive 300 meters- once you get through the tunnel look for our white combi (ST 494 SS) and kayaks. From the Makarska direction- turn right just before the Omis bridge (there is only 1 river and 1 bridge in Omis), drive 300 meters- once you get through the tunnel look for our white combi (ST 494 SS) and kayaks.

Kayaking from the river to the Sea Kayaking on the Cetina river in Dalmatia Croatia. Rarely do you get to experience the tranquility and beauty of a crystal clear river- only a few kilometers from the sparkling adriatic sea. On this kayaking tour you will be taken from Omis by our mini bus, 6 kms inland to a beautiful restaurant and picnic area- Radmanove Mlinice. From Radmanove Mlinice you will kayak down river on the calm crystal clear Cetina River. Your kayaking guide will lead the way and give you advice on the best paddling techniques. You will set the pace and be able to kayak as fast or slow as you like. It usually takes about 2 hours to kayak the 6 kms to the mouth of the Cetina river in Omis. Once you get to the sea, kayaking finishes at the main beach in Omis. You must book your kayaking tour at least 1-3 day in advance.
